#3 Excuses Versus Reasons

Are you someone who finds reasons or someone who finds excuses? Recently at the climbing gym, I saw a man bouldering who had a prosthetic leg. He was around 50 years old and seemed to be a competent climber. I just thought about it for a while. This guy has the perfect excuse to never exercise again. He could sit around feeling sorry for himself and doing nothing. He could point out the fact that it’s harder for him than anyone else and nobody would disagree. But instead he chooses to get after it. He isn’t looking for an excuse. He has a reason and he does it despite his handicap.

Find your reason and get after it.
